Oh, for those that are praying for me...

I'm still cancer-free. Praise God.

My doc's exact quote, "You definetly look healthier than anyone we've seen today. And that includes all of our staff here."

Praise God.

1 down 1 to go

Ct Scan is done. Pet Scan is on Tuesday.

I think I got just about my whole brother's family sick with that fever. It lasted 2 or 3 days for me.

My bro is off to college.

And we need some people to join our fantasy football league. It's only been running for 10 years. At least. Now we only have 6 of us. Hmmm, need at least 2 more.

We have eaten a tremendous amount of cucumbers lately. I think we were averaging 20 a day as a family. Considering I was taking out 3/4 of that, that's impressive. That's only possible because of a juicer.

I like the Vikings odds this season. It appears they actually will have a defense this year. Maybe they can keep up with Philly if T.O. and Philly can't get along.

Later.

fever

So I seemed to have woke up a small fever (100.1). Enough to mess up my plans for the evening. Oh, well. It would be nice if you all would pray for me and health. I got my 4 month ct scan/pet scan/checkup coming up in a week or so.

So this got me thinking. I had no shortage of fevers over the previous couple of years... just in high ones alone I think I had around 50 of them over 103 degrees. And I probably had hundreds of them over a hundred. I guess I just got used to them.

Oh, here's random news. According to the British, I just heard that there is some weird mutation in red haired girls. Apparently they can take 3 times more pain than men or other hair colored women. Perhaps this would explain why my sister just gave birth to her son without any painkillers...

edit: found this link... but there are others out there

What's new

Not a lot. I'm playing tons of volleyball. And that makes me happy. I think I'm playing tonight, tomorrow, and Saturday.

I like to post on ideas of things... hmm, what good ideas do I have floating between my ears these days.

I am going back through the book Victory Over the Darkness by Neil T. Anderson. Man, is that good stuff. I'm going to teach a Bible Study (just one time) on Truth. Obviously, that book is excellent. The book is on how the key to living a life of victory is to know who you are in Christ. As the issue of identity and security becomes, eh, secure (for lack of a better word), than the wrong things we do to try to belong, fit in, etc. aren't an issue. Until we find our security in Christ we vascillate from pride to insecurity and run as an emotional roller coaster.

Welp, gotta run. Man, maybe I should write in here more.
